TGR Haas F1 Sim Racing Team brought its 2026 F1 Sim Racing World Championship campaign to a close with a season that demonstrated clear progress, even if the final results don’t fully reflect that trajectory.

Across four events and 12 rounds, the team competed in an exceptionally tight field, with the championship itself going down to the wire. TGR Haas F1 Sim Racing Team ultimately finished ninth in the Teams’ standings with 44 points.

Represented over the course of the season by Joris Croezen, Tamás Gál and Gábor Csontos, the team showed competitive pace and delivered several strong race performances. Croezen led the scoring effort, finishing 13th in the Drivers’ standings on 40 points, while Gál contributed four points to the team’s tally during a campaign that also featured a debut appearance for Csontos.

The season began in front of a live audience at DreamHack in Birmingham and immediately showed promise. Early races saw some positive qualifying performances which were converted into race results, with Croezen scoring in five of the first six races. A valuable double points finish in Jeddah highlighted the progress being made, while later rounds continued to underline the group’s resilience in tightly contested midfield battles.

The second half of the season brought fresh challenges, with fine margins often determining whether the team finished within the points. Even so, TGR Haas F1 Sim Racing Team remained determined throughout the campaign and finished the season with another points finish in the final event.

To sum up the season, we asked our 2026 drivers to reflect on their key moments and learnings:

Joris Croezen
“This season taught me how others around me drive, I gained a lot of experience from understanding that.”

“The hardest moment of the year was Event 3 as I scored zero points and it was a disappointment after how well the first two events had gone.”

“I’m most proud of Event 1 as I finished all three races in the points. It got the season off to a really good start.”

“A race I won’t forget is China, because I finished P5 there. I had to drive through the field rather than there being chaos ahead of me.”

Tamás Gál
“This season taught me patience. There are a lot of moments where races become chaotic and then you have to wait for stewards' decisions. You also have to be patient by waiting and seeing what unfolds in front of you on track to take advantage.”

“The hardest moment of the year was after qualifying in Jeddah. I was knocked out in Q2 even though it was my best track of the season. Thankfully though, we were able to improve to P8 in the race.”

“I’m most proud of the way I was able to improve my race craft and race pace through the season.”

“A race I won’t forget is Jeddah because it was my best result of the year and a double points finish for the team.”

While the final standings don’t fully capture the progress made, the 2026 campaign highlighted the team’s growth, resilience and ability to compete in an increasingly competitive field.
