TGR Haas F1 Team and charity partner Starlight Children’s Foundation teamed up during the Miami Grand Prix to provide five-year-old racing fan Cameron and his family with a special VIP experience.

Ahead of the race weekend, Cameron – who has faced significant health challenges from an early age – and his family were welcomed to the Miami International Autodrome for a day of behind-the-scenes access. The visit included a guided tour of the team’s garage with Mark Lowe, Sporting Director at TGR Haas F1 Team, access to the Formula 1 paddock and the chance to spend time with TGR Haas F1 Team drivers Ollie Bearman and Esteban Ocon.

As part of the team’s ongoing partnership with Starlight Children’s Foundation, which began in 2022, TGR Haas F1 Team will continue to support initiatives around U.S. race events to create meaningful moments for children facing serious medical challenges and their families.

“Partnering with Starlight Children’s Foundation to create special moments for children like Cameron is a privilege and incredibly important to the entire team,” shared Jessica Borrell, Head of F1 Communications at TGR Haas F1 Team. “Seeing his resilience, excitement, and connection with Ollie, Esteban, and team members was a reminder of how impactful these experiences can be for families facing difficult challenges. We're proud to continue supporting Starlight’s mission and helping bring joy, comfort, and unforgettable memories to families across the country.”

“Experiences like Cameron’s day at the Miami Grand Prix highlight the power of partnerships,” said Starlight CEO Adam Garone. “Together with the TGR Haas F1 Team, we’re able to provide young fans with unforgettable memories that go far beyond the hospital setting.”

“We had the absolute honor of spending the day with Starlight and TGR Haas F1 Team, and every person we met was genuinely so kind and invested in making our day one to remember,” said Lexi Preston, Cameron’s mom. “He got to see the mechanics at work and both drivers in their cars, but the highlight was definitely the bond he formed with Ollie. After several difficult years of doctors' offices and ER visits, seeing Cameron grinning from ear to ear and simply living in the moment was priceless. We can’t thank Starlight and Haas enough for giving him this once-in-a-lifetime memory.”
