October 16, 2026
From Asia to the United States of America, the ‘King of the Monsters’ reemerges in Austin.
TGR Haas F1 Team and TOHO CO., LTD., the iconic Japanese entertainment studio, are reuniting to bring the iconic character to an even wider audience at the United States Grand Prix, taking place at Circuit of The Americas from October 23-25.
Following the launch of the groundbreaking collaboration at the 2026 Japanese Grand Prix, the second takeover comes days before the highly anticipated release of ‘Godzilla Minus Zero’, which opens in cinemas across the United States on November 6.
To specifically commemorate the film’s release, Godzilla from ‘Godzilla Minus Zero’ will take center stage with a new special-edition livery, racewear, and merchandise, bringing together two icons of Japanese and American popular culture. The new Godzilla x TGR Haas F1 Team fanwear collection will be available to purchase from October 19 giving both Formula 1 fans and ‘G-Fans’ around the world a new opportunity to celebrate the partnership with their own flair and interpretation, including bespoke driver t-shirts and team hoodies. Posters and jigsaw puzzles, designed in collaboration with Automobolist, featuring the special livery will be in stock both online and in Austin.
The special-edition livery will be revealed online on Monday, October 19, ahead of the United States Grand Prix, with the Godzilla takeover extending to the race suits of TGR Haas F1 Team drivers Esteban Ocon and Ollie Bearman, as well as F1 Academy driver Kaylee Countryman.
An exclusive fan event at Domain NORTHSIDE Shopping Plaza in Austin will play host to the physical reveal of the campaign, with Ayao Komatsu, Team Principal of TGR Haas F1 Team, Esteban Ocon, Ollie Bearman and Kaylee Countryman in attendance.
Fans in Austin will have another chance to get up close to the themed livery at Barton Creek Square from October 23-25. A TGR Haas F1 Team show car will be displayed alongside the latest drop of Godzilla fanwear, with a limited-edition tote bag available with every purchase. Daily competitions and exciting prizes will give fans even more opportunities to get closer to the action.
“We were incredibly proud of what we created with TOHO and Godzilla at the Japanese Grand Prix, and we’re excited to bring the ‘King of the Monsters’ back for our home race in Austin,” shared Ayao Komatsu, Team Principal of TGR Haas F1 Team. “We’re breaking new ground in Formula 1 by releasing a follow-up livery, and that’s something we’re very proud of. It gives us another opportunity to deliver more of the content our fans want to see and to create something that connects Formula 1 with new audiences. Godzilla is such an iconic character, and seeing this partnership come to life again in the United States is going to be very special for the team and our fans.”
"We are deeply honored to partner once again with TGR Haas F1 Team for a special collaboration this autumn, following our successful joint initiative at the Japan Grand Prix in March,” added Keiji Ota, Director, Senior Managing Executive Officer, CGO (Chief Godzilla Officer). “At the previous Japan Grand Prix, the powerful synergy between a team continuously pushing the limits at the pinnacle of global motorsport and Godzilla, a character that continues to captivate fans worldwide, generated an extraordinary response. As we head into the final stretch of the season and battle intensifies, our partnership promises to deliver a whole new level of excitement at the United States Grand Prix in October.
“With the release of the new film ‘Godzilla Minus Zero’ approaching in November, we invite everyone to look forward to this dynamic collaboration between Godzilla – gaining ever greater momentum – and a team that continually breaks barriers on the world stage."
