Joris Croezen, Tamas Gál and Gabor Csontos will represent TGR Haas F1 Sim Racing Team for the 2026 F1 Sim Racing World Championship, marking the squad’s eighth year in the series.

Starting on March 27-29 at global esports and gaming festival DreamHack Birmingham, the 2026 F1 Sim Racing World Championship kicks off with Event 1, where TGR Haas F1 Sim Racing Team, supported by R8G Esports, will tackle Shanghai, Suzuka and Bahrain.

Joris Croezen (19), a WOR race winner, from the Netherlands, returns for a second season with the outfit. Hungarian racer Tamas Gál (19) completed his rookie year in 2025 with Haas after becoming the PSGL F2 Champion in 2024, while fellow Hungarian Gabor Csontos (20) completes the line-up and will make his F1 Esports debut in 2026.

They’ll be competing across 12 rounds of racing over four events, with the remaining three events taking place at Formula 1’s Media and Technology Centre in Biggin Hill. Their sights will be firmly set on the title and a share of the $750,000 prize pool.

Last season, TGR Haas F1 Sim Racing Team finished tenth in the team standings, securing two top-ten finishes in the process. This season, the team will be looking to build on that and fight for regular points finishes.

Tamas Gál, TGR Haas F1 Sim Racing Team driver, said: “Stability is crucial in Esports, as it is in any sport. I’m really excited to start my second season with TGR Haas F1 Sim Racing Team and I’m eager to show that last year’s results didn’t reflect our true potential. We made our series debut in 2025 on what was probably the strongest sim racing grid ever. Despite having a lot to learn, I was really happy with my qualifying pace, reaching Q3 for most of the season.

“In the races, however, things didn’t go as planned, and I know exactly where the team and I needed to improve. We worked hard behind the scenes to address that and add strong race pace to our raw speed. This season, I will do my best to score as many points as possible.”

Joris Croezen, TGR Haas F1 Sim Racing Team driver, said: “My goal for this season is simply to do better than last year. After a tough rookie season, I learned a lot - especially about the LAN environment - and we’ve had ten months to prepare and improve. The level in sim racing is incredibly high nowadays, but we showed last year that we have the pace, especially with the front-row start in Brazil.

“In the end, it will come down to small details. I’m convinced we’ll have opportunities; we just need to capitalize on them, which we didn’t manage to do last year. I’m confident we can score strong points this season for TGR Haas F1 Team.”

Gabor Csontos, TGR Haas F1 Sim Racing Team driver, said: “I’m really honored to be joining TGR Haas F1 Team for the 2026 F1 Sim Racing season - it’s a dream come true. A lot of work happens before the first race; testing the new game, working hard as a development driver, and collaborating closely with the engineers and my team mates to maximize performance. We feel better prepared than ever as we know each other well,  and we’ll push hard to achieve the best possible results.”

All 12 rounds of the 2026 F1 Sim Racing World Championship will be broadcast live on the official Formula 1 YouTube, Facebook, and Twitch channels.
