Puppy Pitstops with Dogs for Good
June 4, 2026
Colleagues from TGR Haas F1 Team recently took part in a ‘Puppy Pitstop’ session at Dogs for Good, a local charity based close to the team’s UK HQ, dedicated to creating life-changing connections between people and dogs.
The organization plays a vital role in improving wellbeing, fostering independence, and strengthening communities through the unique bond between humans and dogs.
The visit gave team members the chance to spend time with dogs at different stages of their development – from puppies to more mature trainees. It also served an important purpose for the dogs as socialization is a crucial part of their training journey.
Through interacting with new people in a relaxed and positive environment, the dogs build confidence and learn to navigate unfamiliar situations, helping to prepare them for their future roles.
"Having supported Dogs for Good since 2023, its close proximity to our UK HQ has provided an ideal opportunity to further strengthen our relationship through the Puppy Pitstop sessions," said Amy Goodman, Senior HR Generalist, TGR Haas F1 Team. "Giving employees the opportunity to volunteer during their lunch breaks has proven highly rewarding – encouraging meaningful community engagement, strengthening internal collaboration, and supporting a truly valuable cause."
"For us at Dogs for Good events like Puppy Pitstops are a way to engage in joyful interaction with supporters like TGR Haas F1 Team," added Maddy Phelps, Storytelling and PR Lead, Dogs for Good. "They are also incredible valuable for our dogs – particularly those still in training and being socialized. Meeting new people and experiencing environments similar to those they will encounter in the future helps us shape their behavior and prepare them to be confident in their roles. It’s also a great opportunity for us to observe how they respond in real-life situations."
